It is Big Universe Out There!---Dr. Rama

We are too hypnotized by our surroundings, problems, worries, emotions, and difficulties.  We take in everything through our 5 senses and assume that the world around us is what it is.  Well to function down here we have to do that.

However, where is our creativity, wonder, and inspiration?  Do we take time to look at the night sky and remember that we are not alone?

With countless stars, solar systems, galaxies and Universes there must countless living planets and systems out there teeming with life as we know it and do not know it.  In my opinion there are innumerable civilizations out there with infinite and extraordinary gifts and abilities that we will one day learn from.

More and more awareness is being generated by the notion that our conditioned beliefs and ways of looking at this finite world are changing.  We are waking up into higher consciousness to see that there is so much more out there than what we have been led to believe.

The Universe is a big place.

Do we not marvel at the fact that it has no beginning and no end?  The mind cannot comprehend the infinite nature of the Universe.

More importantly we have not discovered the eternal Source behind the Universe where this energy that has no beginning or end.

This energy is called by many names:  God, Self, Higher Power, Nature, or any other name one can think of.

This eternal Source can be felt deep within in the form of bliss, peace, love and light---

What we must realize that this same force inside us is the fabric of the entire Universe---just like sampling a drop of ocean water represents the entire ocean.

When we merge with this ocean we are really free.  We discover this eternal Source that has been there all along or at least glimpse it.

We wake up from the nightmare of this world to see that material possessions and desires are useful but not the be all and end all.

Realizing this Source which is the origin of peace and love is paramount to understand what is really important in life.

When we are committed to seeing and knowing this, then our path is laid out more clearly and easily.

When we buck this knowledge then we end up with suffering, misery, chaos, lost dreams and ill health.

So why continue to suffer?  Do we want to suffer or do we want to discover something deeper inside ourselves that will give us the satisfaction we crave in the outer world.

When we commit to the journey of the inner Self then we take off the rose colored glasses that is clouding our vision.

We begin to wake up to the balance of inner peace and outer realization of the miracle of Creation.
